“The forces and means of the Black Sea Fleet have begun to monitor the actions of the US Navy destroyer Donald Cook, which entered the Black Sea on January 23, 2021,” the center noted.

Earlier, the commander of the Baltic Fleet, Admiral Alexander Nosatov, said that the buildup of the combat capabilities of the Baltic Fleet was primarily due to NATO's military activity in the Kaliningrad region.
