Bingen (AP) - The table tennis women from TTC Eastside Berlin have continued their chase towards the top of the table in the Bundesliga.
On Saturday, the team of coach Irina Palina achieved the second win of the season in a 6-2 win at TTG Bingen / Münster-Sarmsheim and after minus points they are only one point behind table leader SV DJK Kolbermoor.
The Champions League winner will be back in Bingen on Sunday (2 p.m.).
Xiaona Shan, Nina Mittelham and Britt Eerland had laid the foundation for success with their opening successes, whereas Jessica Göbel lost her first game.
In the second games only Shan had to admit defeat 1: 3 against the top player Chantal Mantz from Bingen.
The other three held themselves harmless for this.
