“This is not the first time the US Embassy in Moscow has shown disregard for diplomatic rules and regulations by actively posting messages on social networks in support of uncoordinated protests in Russian cities,” the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry notes that, in fact, the American side is talking about "encouraging violent actions, hypocritically declared a peaceful protest."
At the same time, as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes, the organizers of illegal events involve minors in what is happening.
“Attempts by American diplomacy, ignoring all decorum, in fact, to incite radical elements are doomed to failure and will have negative consequences for bilateral relations,” the Foreign Ministry added.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said that American diplomats would have to explain themselves on Smolenskaya Square after the publication of "protest routes" in Russian cities.
