The draft of the State Duma Deputy Yevgeny Marchenko provides for punishment for those responsible for involving children in illegal actions in the form of imprisonment for up to five years and up to ten years in prison - for persuading minors to organize mass riots.

“Considering that toughening of liability for these types of illegal activities is proposed due to the growing public danger of such actions, the prevention of which is not fully ensured through the application of existing measures of administrative and criminal liability to violators, the draft law is conceptually supported,” says the recall of the UK , which is quoted by RIA Novosti.

The Supreme Court reported that they had considered the draft, to which there is a "remark of a legal and technical nature."

As the author of the initiative specified, the project is currently under consideration by the Russian government.

Earlier, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the dissemination of calls on minors to participate in illegal rallies on January 23 on social networks.

Roskomnadzor reported that social networks have begun to remove appeals addressed to children to participate in unauthorized actions.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova noted that "children are dragged into political battles when all other options do not work."
