- Our previous position was based on us following the Swedish Public Health Agency's recommendations, but after consultation within the municipality we have come to the conclusion that we allow our own protective equipment, says Pauline Broholm Lindberg, head of administration at the children and youth administration, in a press release sent out by Halmstad municipality on Saturday night.

In the press release, they also write that there is still no recommendation from either the Public Health Agency or the infection control doctor to use protective equipment at school.

But that there is also nothing that forbids it.

- If an individual employee wants to use their own mouth guards, it is important that this is done in the right way and taken care of so that no one else is at risk of infection, says municipal director Mattias Rossköld in the press release.
