January 23, 2021 From the Recovery plan 2.750 billion will come to justice, of which 2.3 billion for "organizational innovation" which will bring over twenty thousand hires and 450 million for construction.

Government sources explain this, according to which the Recovery plan should be among the central points

of Minister Alfonso Bonafede's report to Parliament on justice

.

The 2.3 billion aim, it is explained, to affect technological innovation and digitization, recovery of the backlog, acceleration and simplification of processes, reducing the time for justice.

In addition to the 16,000 recruitments already planned for the period 2018-2023 (5,000 already carried out), it is expected to hire, in the magistrates' staff, 16,000 employees in the trial office, on fixed-term contracts;

2000 aggregate honorary magistrates, in charge of drafting civil court sentences;

100 auxiliary honorary magistrates at the tax section of the Court of Cassation, responsible for the disposal of the backlog in the tax section.

In addition, 4,200 single-cycle contract hiring of technical staff or organization managers would be envisaged to support the offices.

In this way, it is explained, judges will be able to make use of technical support staff and concentrate their energies more on decision-making profiles.

As for judicial buildings, 450 million are envisaged for new citadels and major maintenance of the existing assets in a green perspective.

The ministry currently manages 915 properties, mostly owned by municipalities or state-owned.

The intervention proposals are divided into two areas: judicial citadels ("parks of justice"), which respond to the intention of concentrating the services of justice in some city centers, with effects of urban requalification and facilitation of users;

major maintenance of the existing real estate assets, especially in metropolitan areas of the city, according to green and seismic safety logic.
