, Emmanuel Macron chose to address the incest victims directly on Twitter.

We are here, we listen to you, we believe you and you will never be alone again,
" he promises them.
The publication at the beginning of the month of the book

by Camille Kouchner created a shock wave in France, where one in ten people today say they are victims of incest.
In this story, the daughter of the co-founder of Médecins sans frontières Bernard Kouchner, accuses her stepfather, the renowned political scientist Olivier Duhamel, of having abused her twin brother.
Since then, thousands of testimonials under the hashtag #Metooinceste have been posted on social media.
Several measures
Two and a half years after the Schiappa law which extends the limitation period for sexual crimes against minors to 30 years, the head of state wants to go further.

The President of the Republic has already announced several measures: the creation of screening and prevention appointments at primary and secondary level, reimbursement of psychological care for child victims.
Justice Minister Eric Dupont-Moretti will begin his consultations on Monday to amend the law on two key points: the age of consent and the limitation period.
