Mainz (dpa / lrs) - Despite the delivery difficulties with corona vaccines, the Rhineland-Palatinate Prime Minister Malu Dreyer wants to make sure that everyone can be vaccinated by the end of the summer.
"I would like every Rhineland-Palatinate person to have the opportunity to be vaccinated against Covid-19 by the end of summer at the latest," said the SPD top candidate for the state election on March 14 at the program party conference in Mainz.
Everyone should receive a corresponding vaccination offer.
"That is my goal!"
In the meantime, more than 120,000 people in Rhineland-Palatinate have been vaccinated against Covid-19, "more people than have ever been infected with the virus in Rhineland-Palatinate".
Nationwide, the state is currently in the top group when it comes to the proportion of vaccinations in the population.
