Dresden (dpa / sn) - The volleyball players of the Dresdner SC celebrated the next clear success three days after their impressive win against record champions Schwerin against NawaRo Straubing.

The second place in the Bundesliga lived up to its role as favorites and won again 3-0 (25:21, 25:20, 25:19).

It was the eighth win in a row for coach Alexander Waibl's team.

This time the DSC coach sent a slightly different formation into the game, giving Naya Crittenden on Diagonal and Emma Cyris in the outside attack opportunities.

They replaced top scorer Maja Storck and captain Lena Stigrot.

So the DSC women had a little trouble finding their rhythm at the beginning.

In the final phase of the first set, however, they showed their qualities in service, attack and defense.

In the second round, the second in the table clearly stood out with a powerful and variable game.

But the guests from Straubing did not give up, improved after a few changes, while many minor mistakes crept in at DSC.

The DSC did not let the victory be taken away.
