Dresden (AP) - Dynamo Dresden started with a win in the second half of the 3rd soccer league.

The front runner defeated 1. FC Kaiserslautern 4: 3 (2: 1) on Saturday despite being behind twice.

Kenny Prince Redondo (13th / 58th) had brought the guests into the lead twice, Kevin Ehlers (46th / own goal) scored to equalize.

But Christoph Daferner (32nd), Philipp Hosiner (45th / 82nd) and Ransford Königsdörffer (74th) turned the game twice for Markus Kauczinski's team.

The home side had more of the game on the still slightly frozen grass in the Rudolf Harbig Stadium.

Despite the disciplined defending guests, Dynamo played itself out several times with good shot opportunities, but had to fight off one or the other counterattack by the Red Devils.

Redondo used one of these tempo counter-attacks to lead the guests early.

Dresden was not deterred, however, and turned the gap to the break lead by their storm duo Daferner and Hosiner, who each put the ball on each other.

After the restart, Jeff Saibene's team caught Dresden twice as cold as ice.

But Königsdörffer and Hosiner ultimately ensured a deserved home win for the league leaders.
