The president of Lombardy Attilio Fontana said this in a press point in the Region with the councilor for Welfare Letizia Moratti.



"I am outraged by what I read and by the false news that is offensive to Lombardy and to the people who work there", added Fontana, underlining: "It is not that we give up using the TAR".

He will certainly miss next Monday's hearing on the suspension of the order of Hope of January 16, which has already been suspended by the minister himself today, but "we will go ahead so that the truth of the facts is established" also at the judicial level.

For this reason, the Region also intends to challenge "the minutes of the control room, of the Cts and the order" of today's Minister Speranza in the part in which it is said that Lombardy has rectified the data.



Councilor Moratti echoes him: Minister Speranza, who signed the new ordinance to put Lombardy in the orange zone, "demanded that we say that there had been our mistake. But we could not accept it for the dignity of the Region, for our families and businesses ".



"I wanted to anticipate - concludes Fontana - that at the next meeting of the conference of the Regions I will make a request to the government that, in the next deviation authorized by Parliament, a sum is explicitly inserted that is equivalent to the damage that our categories have suffered. ".



Oppositions: Fontana report in the Chamber on insult data

"The vase is full for all the opposition of the Government of Lombardy. The opposition of the Regional Council, the day after the long hours of tension to ascertain the responsibility of the Region on the mockery of the parameters errors on which the red zone was based, asks that Governor Fontana come on Tuesday to report to the Chamber ".

This is what the opposition parties strongly demand from the Lombardy Regional Council, after the chaos on the numbers of infections.

For this reason, the statement continues, "Fontana and the new councilor Moratti must present themselves to the Council on Tuesday and report on what happened. So it is no longer possible to go on, from the driving force of the nation we have become the laughing stock of Italy, that's enough".
