Leipzig (dpa) - RB Leipzig's regular goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi has, according to his advisor, an exit clause in his contract, which is valid until the end of June 2023.

The 30-year-old Hungarian national goalkeeper could leave the Saxon top club from the Bundesliga after this season.

"I can confirm that there is a clause in Peter's contract that can be activated this summer," Hasan Cetinkaya told the "Bild".

Gulacsi's advisor did not want to comment on the amount of the transfer fee.

"Just so much: It is very low even for Corona times," he said.

Gulacsi came to Leipzig from Red Bull Salzburg in July 2015.

Before his guest appearance in Austria, he had been under contract with clubs in England - including Liverpool FC - for a few years.

In Leipzig, the unexcited goalkeeper developed into an absolute top performer and co-guarantee of success.

According to “Bild”, RB would like to buy the clause.

«I can understand Leipzig.

But it is now up to Oliver Mintzlaff how things go with Peter in Leipzig, "said Cetinkaya, who certainly wants to strengthen his position in negotiations with the RB club boss about the future of his client with such statements.
