Wendlingen (dpa / lsw) - A woman was seriously injured in an accident on Autobahn 8 near Wendlingen (Esslingen district).
The 20-year-old had a skid in her car in heavy rain on Friday evening, as the police announced on Saturday.
The car hit the embankment and then hit a concrete wall.
The car rolled over several times and stayed on the roof.
The 20-year-old freed herself from the car despite serious injuries and was taken to a hospital by an ambulance.
The accident resulted in damage of around 50,000 euros.
Initial findings indicate that the woman drove too fast in view of the weather.
