Saarbrücken (dpa / lrs) - 185 new infections with the corona virus have been registered in Saarland within 24 hours.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 24,485 people in the state had been infected by Saturday, the Ministry of Health in Saarbrücken announced (as of 4 p.m.).
21 957 people have recovered.
The reported number of people who died from or with the virus rose by four to 695.
According to the ministry, 1,833 people are currently infected.
286 would be treated as inpatients, 77 of them in intensive care units.
The number of new infections per 100,000 population in the past 7 days was 111.0 nationwide.
