Berlin (dpa) - According to a "picture" report, Bruno Labbadia is about to leave as coach of Hertha BSC.

That is the consequence of the 1: 4 defeat on Saturday evening against Werder Bremen.

The association initially did not confirm the supposedly imminent separation.

Labbadia (54) said after the game in the Sky interview that there was no plan for the coming days.

"We're the last to talk nicely," said the coach, who described the Bremen game as a "brutal disappointment".

“That's a shitty feeling, we'll see everything else.

The point here is that the club is successful and that we get on track.

That's the bottom line, then we'll see how the coming days are. "

After 18 games, Hertha is 14th with 17 points and lags far behind its own claims.

In addition to Labbadia, Hertha manager Michael Preetz (53) was recently criticized.

It will always be decided for the benefit of the club, said Labbadia.

"We can only do one thing, namely work hard."
