Lübeck (dpa / lno) - The game of the third division soccer club VfB Lübeck on Sunday (2 p.m.) for the start of the second half of the season at 1. FC Saarbrücken has been moved to Frankfurt.
The lawn in the Ludwigsparkstadion is not playable because the lawn heating is currently not in use, announced the clubs involved.
The week before, the Saarlanders' home game against FSV Zwickau had been canceled.
The VfB game will now be played in the Frankfurt PSD Bank Arena (formerly the stadium on Bornheimer Hang).
It has underfloor heating.
The day before, the regional league game of the local FSV Frankfurt against SG Sonnenhof Großaspach is scheduled.
The people of Lübeck travel to Frankfurt by bus on Saturday and move into a hotel there.
Advantage for VfB: You save around 185 kilometers and travel time per route.

Saarbrücken's trainer Lukas Kwasniok rates Lübeck more strongly than their last place in the table suggests - “and that is not something of a babble,” he emphasized.
Promoted VfB has only 16 points after 18 games at the end of the table, Saarbrücken is seventh with 29 points.
