However, this list does not contain any restrictions both for non-profit organizations performing the function of a foreign agent, and for individuals included in the register of foreign media outlets performing the function of a foreign agent.
“In this regard, I ask you to assess the feasibility of including in the list of persons who cannot act as organizers of public events: NPOs performing the function of a foreign agent, officials - representatives of NPOs and the media performing the function of a foreign agent, individuals included in accordance with with the legislation to the register of foreign media performing the function of a foreign agent, ”the appeal says.
Earlier, Russia proposed to ban donations to political parties from individuals who are recognized as foreign agents.
