The earthquake struck in the east of Kazakhstan

This is reported by Interfax with reference to the Altai-Sayan branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

According to the data of operational processing of the Altai-Sayan branch of the Geophysical Service, the epicenter of the earthquake had coordinates 47.58 degrees north latitude and 82.03 degrees east longitude.

Earlier it was reported that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.9 occurred in Cyprus.
