Schleswig (dpa / lno) - The Higher Administrative Court (OVG) has confirmed the applicable contact restrictions in Schleswig-Holstein to contain the corona pandemic.

The 3rd Senate rejected an application on Friday to temporarily suspend execution, as the court announced on Friday evening.

However, the judges raised concerns about hardship cases.

However, the Senate is not allowed to temporarily suspend the contact restrictions only partially.

In Schleswig-Holstein, according to the state's Corona ordinance, people in a household are only allowed to have contact with one other person.

In the opinion of the Senate, it was unclear whether this regulation would withstand a legal review in the main proceedings.

He referred to the psychological consequences of the contact restrictions, especially for vulnerable people.

Small children are currently under certain circumstances completely excluded from contact with their peers, for example if "visits to games" are not possible without a carer.

The court argued that single parents of young children who require constant care are also particularly restricted as they can only meet with one additional person at a time.

The same may apply to people who need constant care and support, as well as their caring spouses, partners or children.

The current regulation should expire on Sunday evening and be replaced by a new regulation.

The decision of the OVG is final (Az. 3 MR 4/21).
