"Rosselkhoznadzor from January 25, 2021 introduces a ban on the import of pears into Russia, produced in the Republic of Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina," the statement on the agency's website says.

It is noted that on December 21, 2020, during negotiations, the Russian department notified the Bosnian side of the systematic identification of those infected with brown monilious rot.

Consignments of pears shipped from the Republika Srpska region of Bosnia and Herzegovina before January 25, 2021 will be imported only after laboratory examination for the entire complex of quarantine facilities.
