Göttingen (dpa / lni) - Rasta Vechta has proven his ascending form in the basketball Bundesliga in the Lower Saxony duel at the BG Göttingen.

Coach Thomas Päch's team won on Friday evening with 102: 90 after extra time and after the botched start with eleven defeats in a row secured their third success in a row and made it to the lower midfield with 6:22 points.

For Göttingen (6:20) it was the eighth defeat from the last nine matches.

After a good second quarter (27:14) and a 60:46 lead in the middle of the third quarter, it looked like a clear success for Göttingen.

But Vechta came back with a 13-0 run in the final round and reached extra time (86: 86/40th minute).

In the extra season, Vechta triumphed with an impressive performance.

While Luke Nelson was able to convince with 23 points at Göttingen, Jean Salumu (22 points) was once again most accurate for Vechta.

In addition, five Rasta professionals scored in the double-digit range.
