Berlin (dpa / bb) - In an attack on a food discounter in Berlin-Spandau, an employee was injured by a gunshot.
A man entered the shop on Galenstrasse on Thursday evening and threatened the 39-year-old employee with a firearm, the police announced on Friday.
He forced the employee into the office with the cash safe, where he threatened a 41-year-old colleague.
According to the information, the woman was unable to open the safe, whereupon the robber fired a warning shot towards the ceiling.
In the sales room he then received money from several cash registers and fled towards the Hohenzollernring with it.
The employee suffered an ear injury from the warning shot.
