Gera (dpa) - The large-scale bakery Sternenbäck warns against the consumption of some of its bread roll products.
According to the consumer protection ministry in Berlin from Friday, star bakery double rolls, multigrain rolls, wholemeal rolls, round potato rolls, Kaiser rolls, rolls, party rolls and raisin rolls are affected.
This affected goods that were sold in branches in Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt between December 20 and January 21.
Kaiser rolls were also sold in branches in Baden-Württemberg.
The products from a bakery in Gera may be contaminated with metallic objects such as screws and washers.
This could pose a health risk.
All batches that may be affected have been removed from the branches, according to an information from the company based in Hechingen.
According to the company, three bakeries and 260 bakeries operate in the five federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg, Thuringia, Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.
