Paris SG has temporarily taken sole control of Ligue 1 by largely beating Montpellier (4-0) at home Friday night on behalf of the 21st day.

Faced with Montpellierers reduced to ten in the 19th minute after the expulsion of goalkeeper Jonas Omlin, the Parisians were carried by Mbappé, double scorer (34th, 63rd) and passer for Neymar (60th), before a last goal from Icardi (61st).

Paris is provisionally three points ahead of its runner-up Lille, who plays Sunday in Rennes (5:00 p.m.).
