January 22, 2021 "Revenge is inevitable. Soleimani's killer and the one who ordered the murder must endure revenge."

This is the message in Persian published during the night by the Twitter profile @khamenei_site, linked to the supreme leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

The tweet, which has now disappeared along with the suspended account, was accompanied by a

showing the former US president, Donald Trump, playing on a golf course by the sea flown over by a triangular-shaped military plane that can be seen. only the shadow cast on the green.

"Revenge can happen at any time," added the tweet, referring to the assassination of General Qassem Soleimani, the head of the Quds Force, killed on January 3, 2020 in Baghdad by a US drone.

The tweet was not immediately removed as was the case last January 9 in a post in which Khamenei explained his veto on the import of vaccines from the US and the UK, asserting that "these countries cannot be trusted".

Jack Dorsey's social media had thought that the message violated his policy "on misleading information on Covid-19".
