On Tuesday, the Nantes Criminal Court sentenced to six months in prison a man who had committed acts of violence last April on firefighters in Loire-Atlantique, Sdis 44 reported in a press release (departmental fire department and relief

)

this Friday.

In April, three firefighters from Sdis 44 intervened in Saint-Sébastien-sur-Loire to rescue a man, aged 29, unconscious on the public highway.

"Very quickly aggressive and incoherent in his words", the individual had jostled a firefighter before striking him with a punch in the face.

He had threatened to "find them"

Another firefighter had managed to dodge another punch.

"Once under control, the man threatened the three firefighters to come accompanied to find them", indicates Sdis 44.

The author was therefore prosecuted for acts of violence and contempt committed against persons entrusted with a public service mission as well as for several thefts with destruction.
