Pforzheim (dpa / lsw) - After a fatal attack on a 66-year-old man in Pforzheim, the reward for clues has been increased to up to 50,000 euros.

3,000 euros of this come from the public prosecutor's office, 47,000 euros were provided by private sources, the police and public prosecutor announced on Friday.

Two darkly dressed and masked attackers had allegedly attacked the 66-year-old on a street near the main train station in early November.

Accordingly, the perpetrators kicked and beat the man.

His head was so badly injured that he died a week later.

After the crime, the attackers fled on foot.
