Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - When his car collided with a bus, a driver in Wiesbaden was seriously injured.
According to witness statements, the bus driver had previously driven to an intersection despite the red light, the police said.
There he crashed head-on into an oncoming car.
The 22-year-old driver was seriously injured and taken to hospital.
A passenger who was on the bus at the time of the accident suffered minor injuries.
Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive and had to be towed.
This led to a backlog that also affected the 643 motorway.
