Dresden (dpa / sn) - In connection with the right-wing extremist "Gruppe Freital", further supporters have to answer before the State Security Senate of the Higher Regional Court (OLG).

The trial against two men and a woman will begin next Tuesday in the special courthouse on the outskirts used for terrorist proceedings, a total of nine trial days are planned until mid-March, as the OLG announced on Friday.

The public prosecutor's office in Dresden accuses them of participating in one crime each of the group classified as right-wing terrorist.

In the case of one of the defendants, in connection with the attack on an alternative housing project, it is also about causing an explosive substance, property damage, dangerous physical harm and attempted dangerous physical harm.

It is the third “Gruppe Freital” procedure to date.

In March 2018, eight members were sentenced to long prison terms.

The second trial against four other alleged members and supporters of the terrorist group towards the end has been ongoing since September 2020.

In 2015, the "Gruppe Freital" carried out bomb attacks on foreigners and politically dissenters in the city of the same name, southwest of Dresden and the surrounding area.
