SBS has obtained a picture of the KF-X, the Korean fighter jet, the largest domestic weapon project in history, for final assembly.

It has also been confirmed that the government is considering ways to independently promote this project, excluding Indonesia.

is a Korean fighter KF-X prototype 1, a nose cone on which the Eisa radar will be mounted, and a stealth design that minimizes radar wave reflection.




This is the first to be unveiled since the assembly started in September last year.



The overall shape is similar to the American F-22 Raptor, the world's best fighter.

KF-X Unit 1 will be completed if the landing gear, that is, take-off and landing wheels, is mounted and painted in black gray during this month.



Unit 1 will be unveiled through a rollout in April, a public event.



The plan is to complete the development by 2026 after conducting ground tests and full-fledged flight tests from next year.

One of the obstacles to the business is the non-payment of contributions from Indonesia, which has a 20% stake, while surpassing technical difficulties one by one.
