“The President has made it clear that he believes that through diplomacy, the United States is seeking to extend and strengthen nuclear restrictions on Iran and to resolve other issues of concern,” RIA Novosti quoted Psaki as saying.
She noted that the US administration expects "conversations with allies and partners."
Psaki clarified that Washington expects the situation around Iran to be part of the discussions.
In early January, the United States added 16 enterprises to the Iranian sanctions lists, most of which are related to steel production.
