Gemünden am Main (dpa / lby) - With coffins in the form of a sleeping cat or a guinea pig, Arno Ludwig wants to give pets a dignified final resting place.

"This is especially important for children to be able to say goodbye," says the graphic artist from Gemünden am Main (Main-Spessart district).

"This is often the first time you come into contact with the subject of death."

The pressed paper coffins are suitable for animals up to eight kilos - from small dogs to rabbits to mice.

Families can paint or glue the coffins before burying their pets in their own garden.
