A little extra water at the mill brought to parents who want schools closed.

The nursery school of the Center in Illkirch-Graffenstaden, a municipality bordering Strasbourg, must close its doors due to cases of "proven Covid".

A decision taken Wednesday by the prefect of Bas-Rhin Josiane Chevalier "in order to avoid the risks of the virus spreading".

The latter told the mayor of the town Thibaud Philipps, that the nursery school of the Center is closed by a prefectural decree for at least a week from this Thursday.

Indeed, six classes of this school are affected by the epidemic, indicates the press release from the city of Ilkirch-Graffenstaden.

Families are invited to get closer to their treating doctors, the press release further indicates that the municipal team and the city's school service remain attentive and vigilant.

Another school

As a reminder, barely three days ago, January 18, the students of two kindergarten classes in Sand, a town south of Strasbourg, also saw their class closed after the discovery of "several cases of Covid-19" in within the school.

For his part, the mayor of Illkirch-Graffenstaden indicates that in addition to the vaccination center which will open its doors on January 28, the town hall is organizing its third screening campaign intended for the general public, this Thursday at 9 a.m., at the socio-cultural center from the Lighthouse of Ill.
