Bad Dürkheim (dpa / lrs) - After the recovery of three bodies from a burned-out car wreck in Bad Dürkheim, the investigation continues.

The bodies of the man and the two children would be examined.

The autopsy results should be available on Friday, a spokesman for the Frankenthal public prosecutor said on Thursday.

In addition, an expert should examine the burned-out car wreck, said a police spokesman.

There are no signs of an accident.

However, it was not certain whether it was a homicide, said the police and the public prosecutor.

According to the police, the car was in flames in a parking lot on Bundesstrasse 37 when the fire department arrived on Tuesday evening.

After the car was cleared, the rescue workers discovered the man and the children.

Witnesses had previously informed the police and fire brigade about the burning vehicle.

According to the police, they are investigating in all directions.
