Friedrichshafen (dpa / lsw) - The corona pandemic is also having a strong impact on the operation of Messe Friedrichshafen this year.
Events will be postponed or canceled until the second half of the year, as a spokesman for the fair announced on Thursday.
"The pandemic is presenting the trade fair and event industry with major challenges in the current year," said Managing Director Klaus Wellmann.
But there is also confidence that the event year will be more successful than in 2020.
The reason for the trade fair organizers is the ongoing corona vaccinations.
In addition, there should be several leading trade fairs and new events in the city on Lake Constance again in the second half of 2021.
For example, the Eurobike and Interboot trade fairs, which are important for the bicycle and water sports industry, are again planned for September.
