Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - The Nuremberg Vesper Church, a social offer with food distribution in the southern part of the city, wants to start again one week after the end of the lockdown.

This was announced by the Protestant parish Lichtenhof on Thursday.

The start is currently planned for February 21.

Hot lunches will be served free of charge for three weeks - up to 300 servings a day.

There are Vesper churches in winter in several federal states.

Usually, a symbolic amount is charged for the food, in Corona times it is waived, according to the municipality.
