The Mongolian Prime Minister announced this Thursday his resignation the day after a major demonstration in Ulan Bator.
In question, the transfer of a young mother sick with Covid-19 to a quarantine center whose images have caused a wave of indignation in the capital.

Images broadcast on Mongolian television show a young woman dressed in simple pajamas, plastic slides on her feet, leaving a hospital accompanied by two nurses, one of them carrying a newborn baby in her arms.
During this winter period, temperatures in Mongolia are freezing: -25 ° C on average.
The woman who had apparently just given birth was said to have been diagnosed positive for Covid-19 and taken to an infectious disease treatment center.
These images sparked an uproar and came on top of a wave of discontent already entrenched in public opinion over the very strict border controls, containment and restrictions imposed to tackle the epidemic, so even that the country has recorded some 1,500 cases of contamination and three deaths.
More than 5,000 people took to the streets of Ulan Bator on Wednesday, pushing Prime Minister Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to resign on Thursday.
