The Emma Gala in May will reward last year’s best artists, songs and composers.

Behm, who made a breakthrough last year, grabbed the most nominations and is nominated in as many as six different categories (Artist of the Year, Album, Newcomer, Song, Pop and Audience Vote).

Behm, or Rita Behm, is known as an artist who avoids publicity and very rarely gives interviews.

He rose to giant popularity last year with his debut album.

Maustetutöt, Antti Tuisku and Arttu Wiskari will compete in five different series.

Four different categories are nominated for Ibe, Mouhous, Nightwish, Roses and William.

This year, the Emma Awards will be presented in 24 different nominees, from which the Finnish artist or band of the year will be selected by public vote.

- It is hugely great that such diverse and high-quality music is made and produced in Finland.

The event will feature performances by Finland's brightest stars and will feature Arttu Wiskari and the Leavings Orchestra, Elastinen, Jenni Vartiainen, Behm, Lauri Haav, Lähiöborox, Mouhous, Pihlaja and William.

The coronavirus situation will affect the arrangements of the Emma gala and the event will be carried out in accordance with current official regulations.
