A number of fans of the popular cartoon "The Simpsons" believe that it predicted many future events, and the latest predictions are the participation of actor Tom Hanks in the inauguration of the President of the United States.

In a report published in the British newspaper "The Independent", writer Josh Marcus says that 14 years before Biden's inauguration, the satirical cartoon series had expected Tom Hanks to address the American public in a moment of "national chaos."

Hanks, along with superstars Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria, hosted the 46th US Presidential inauguration on Wednesday.

14 years earlier, and specifically in 2007, Hanks appeared in the role of guest star in the series "The Simpsons", saying, "The American government has lost its credibility, so it will borrow from me some credibility."

According to the writer, Hanks is among the most trusted personalities of the American people, and a recent poll revealed that Americans consider him more credible than police, scientific studies and former President Donald Trump.

Social networking sites were ignited with comments about this new prediction for the "Simpsons", and one of the tweeters wrote on Twitter, "After Tom Hanks revived the inauguration ceremony tonight, it is time for everyone to remember that the expectations of the Simpsons are never wrong."

A number of the tweeters also expressed a sense of reassurance after hearing Hanks' words.

The writer confirms that the Simpsons series, which has been shown on television for 32 seasons, has become a rich material on social media thanks to the clips that claim to predict many of the events that have materialized on the ground.

Among the most prominent events predicted by the series are the discovery of the "Higgs boson", the emergence of smart watches, and Donald Trump's victory in the presidency of the United States, according to the report.
