 After the success of the Black Lives Matter movement last year, after also the massive mobilization of the black community to bring Joe Biden and Kamala Harris into the White House, the expectations of the African-American community are high.

She wants more than rhetoric and expects real policy change in the United States.

Christy came from Atlanta, Georgia to be present at Joe Biden's inauguration as she could not attend. 

From her new president, the young woman expects much more than words.

“ 

I want to see a real program.

For us blacks in America, it is no longer enough to paint words on the asphalt.

We want real action in politics!

Things must change, starting with the head of state all the way down.

It is not possible that the town of Flint, Michigan still does not have an adequate drinking water system.

Many poor communities do not have the education or health system they need.

So painting the streets will not be enough

”.

I sincerely believe that she will do much better than all those predecessors.

For me the nomination this year is important.

Because I too am a black woman.
