More than a year ago, the Toulouse town hall discovered that its “gasoline” badges were used for vehicles not belonging to its services for an amount of 330 euros and decided to file a complaint for theft.

During their investigation, the police are suspicious of one of the city's agents, a 45-year-old man taken into police custody on Tuesday.

It was recognized on the video surveillance of the gas stations where the badges were used.

During a search of his home, the police found a can of gasoline and the same clothes worn by the individual spotted by the cameras.

During his hearing, the alleged perpetrator denied the facts.

He is summoned to court as part of a penal composition measure.

For its part, the town hall of Toulouse, within the framework of the presumption of innocence, has not taken any measures against him.
