Amending the Corona response procedures for employees of the Umm Al Quwain government

The Executive Council of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain issued a circular to all government agencies in the emirate regarding the amendment of measures to address the "Covid 19" pandemic for employees of the Umm Al Quwain government, to be implemented as of Sunday 24 January.

The circular stipulated that a nasal swab examination (PCR) be conducted for all employees of Umm Al-Quwain government every 7 days, at the employee's own expense, with the exception of employees who received two doses of "Covid-19" vaccine and employees who obtained a medical report or certificate approved by the official health authorities in The state indicates that they cannot receive the "Covid-19" vaccine according to their health or illness condition, provided that they perform a nasal swab examination (PCR) every 7 days, and government agencies bear the expenses of conducting the examination in this case.

The issuance of the circular comes in line with the directions of the United Arab Emirates government to address the pandemic, limit its repercussions, and preserve the health of employees in a safe work environment.

The circular urged all government agencies in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain to encourage their employees and workers to go to take the "Covid-19" vaccine, which is available to everyone free of charge.
