The National Police have been able to identify during this morning the two victims of the explosion who were not recognized and who died when they were walking down the street after being hit by the debris and rubble that the detonation unleashed.

One of the two pedestrians who died is Javier GS, a 45-year-old bricklayer from Puebla de Almoradiel, a town of 5,500 inhabitants southeast of Toledo and about 130 kilometers from Madrid.

The fourth fatality is a Bulgarian citizen from Fuenlabrada who turned 47 years old today and was initially thought to be 85 years old.

In addition, David Santos, 35, and the parish priest Rubén Pérez, 36, lost their lives in the explosion.

David, a parish volunteer, married with four children, was a maintenance worker for the Metro.

He went upstairs to take a look at the boiler, as some of the priests had told him that it was not working and that there was a strong smell of gas in the area.

Today only one of the injured in the explosion that destroyed a building on Toledo Street in the capital yesterday remains admitted, according to the latest balance sheet of the hospitals of the Madrid Health Service of the Community of Madrid.

The man who is still admitted is a 53-year-old man who is at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid with mild head trauma and rib fractures.

The forecast is that he will be discharged throughout this Thursday.

According to the balance sheet, last night a 29-year-old man with a fibula fracture was discharged, who had been transferred to the San Carlos Clinical Hospital.
