Carola Holzner in a video format for healthcare workers on Thursday.
The senior physician at the Essen University Hospital caused a sensation at the end of December with a call to Facebook in which she advocated a faster vaccination for the hospital staff.
As planned, the vaccination campaign in hospitals had only started this week on Monday, previously remaining stocks had already been vaccinated at university clinics, among other places.
The willingness to vaccinate is high, so Holzner: For example, it is almost 100 percent in the emergency room.
She herself uses her social media channels to fight fake news about vaccinations.
The last doses of the Moderna vaccine are currently being inoculated at the country's university clinics.
At other hospitals, a vaccine was imposed by the country on Wednesday due to delivery problems at Biontech.
