Three minors between the ages of 14 and 17 have been admitted to a detention center after allegedly having gang-raped a girl in a municipality in La Ribera (Valencia), sources familiar with the events have informed Europa Press.
The alleged sexual assault took place last weekend between 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm in a Valencian town in La Ribera and after the victim reported the events, the minors were arrested by agents of the National Police.
After the arrest, the minors were
turned over to the
Valencia
Juvenile Prosecutor's Office
, which yesterday ordered their internment in a closed center.
The alleged violation took place in the garage of a housing estate in La Ribera, according to Levante-EMV, which has specified that
the minor, 15 years old, agreed to go there to see the motorcycle of one of those arrested
.
Once inside, the detainees allegedly assaulted her until a neighbor appeared and let her go.
The victim told her parents what happened and they filed a complaint.
According to the complaint, one of the young men tricked the girl, from the same town and a high school classmate, into accompanying him to the garage where the attack occurred.
The letter states that the three minors participated in the rape and acted in an intimidating and even violent manner.
