Syria: Explosions and fire in two oil and gas installations in Homs

The Syrian TV, quoting the Civil Defense, reported that an explosion occurred on Tuesday evening in an area with two oil and gas installations in the city of Homs in central Syria, causing a "huge fire."

He said the fire occurred in a crude oil tank.

The Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted a source in the Syrian Company for the Transport of Crude Oil as saying that an explosion occurred in a tanker in the company "next to the Syrian Gas Distribution Company, which caused a huge fire as the firefighting teams dealt with the fire."
