At a press conference, Morawiecki expressed the opinion that Poland and the United States are united by "common interests, a common view of the world, threats, chances and risks in the field of technology, 5G, geopolitical threats."

“I am convinced that after the changes in the American administration that are taking place these days, our cooperation will develop very well,” TASS quotes him.

The Polish prime minister added that Warsaw and Washington have "many common projects related to the Three Seas Initiative."

He added that, in particular, we are talking about specific infrastructure connections and funds for new interconnectors in the field of communications and energy.

“All of these are extremely important projects for the United States as well, because they are being implemented on the eastern flank of NATO,” said Morawiecki.

In December, Polish leader Andrzej Duda congratulated Joe Biden on his victory in the US presidential election.

According to him, Poland and the United States share the same ideals and values.

Biden's inauguration is scheduled for 12:00 (20:00 Moscow time) on January 20.
