The viaduct was under the E22 on a minor road from Skarhult, and the accident occurred just before 7 p.m.
- The water was meters high in the car, and the people managed to get out on their own.
Now the Swedish Transport Administration has closed the road during the night, says Torbjörn Krokström, internal commander at the Rescue Service South.
The rescue service has had to intervene in a number of floods in Eslöv municipality.
- We got a bilge pump when the water flowed into the basement.
It has been frozen in the ground while it has been raining.
Then the water flows on top and straight into the houses, says Torbjörn Krokström.
