"Eight professionals and 18 children have tested positive for Covid-19 in the private primary school Notre-Dame, Saint-Genest-Lerpt," said the prefect of the Loire in a statement.

She specifies that the reopening of the establishment, closed until January 27, will be preceded by a "health reassessment of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regional health agency".

A college closed on Tuesday in Puy-de-Dôme

For its part, the academic management of the Loire has announced the establishment of "digital educational continuity", provided by "the teaching team of these children".

Tuesday, in Puy-de-Dôme, a college in Pont-du-Château also had to close its doors for a week after the detection of the virus in 25 of its students.
