On 7 January, Region Sörmland issued a recommendation to the county's municipalities to conduct distance education for its upper secondary students.

And so it was for Eskilstuna, Nyköping and Katrineholm from 11 January.

The idea was that the distance education would last until January 24, but now Eskisltuna municipality has decided to partially continue with the distance education until February 12.

- It is about that we have developed individual proposals for the different school units because they have different conditions. No school will continue at all at a distance. It is about limiting the number of students in the school premises. Fristadsskolan will have one hundred percent teaching on site, but will spread to four different buildings, says Johan Lindeberg, acting headmaster of the primary school.
